Cravvingss
Terms of Service
Last updated 8 August 2026
By ordering, selling or delivering on Cravvingss you agree to these terms. Read them with the Privacy Policy, which covers what we do with your information.
What Cravvingss is
Cravvingss connects customers with food vendors and independent couriers around Yaba, Lagos. We are the marketplace and we handle the money — we are not the kitchen that cooks your food, and couriers are independent, not our employees. Vendors are responsible for the food they prepare; couriers are responsible for getting it to you.
Your account
Your phone number is your account. Anyone with access to that number and its WhatsApp can order as you, so keep it secure and tell us immediately if you lose control of it.
One number holds one business role. A number can be a vendor or a courier, and can always also order as a customer — but it cannot be both a vendor and a courier.
You must be 18 or older.
Orders and payment
You pay before the order reaches the vendor. Your total is always itemised before you pay: the food, the delivery fee, and our service charge, each on its own line. Delivery is priced on distance, so it changes with where you are.
An order is held for a limited window after checkout. If payment does not confirm within it, the order is cancelled and the items go back to whoever's next.
Prices are set by vendors and can change. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel before a vendor accepts your order, and you get a full refund. Once the vendor has started cooking, we cannot refund the food.
If a vendor never accepts, if we cannot find a courier, or if your order never arrives, you are refunded in full. Refunds go back to the account you paid from and take as long as your bank takes.
If something is wrong with an order, tell us through support with your order number. Complaints raised the same day are far easier to resolve.
Delivery
Every delivery has a four-digit code. Give it to the courier only when you have your food — it is how the courier gets paid, so sharing it early means paying for something you have not received.
Give an address a stranger can find, and be reachable on the number you ordered from. If nobody can reach you and the courier has waited, the order may be closed without a refund.
Times we quote are estimates. Lagos traffic is not something we control.
Tips
You can tip after delivery, within a short window. Every naira of a tip goes to the courier. We take nothing from it.
If you sell on Cravvingss
You are responsible for food safety, hygiene, accurate menus and honest prices, and for holding whatever licences your business needs. Keep your menu current — marking sold-out items is part of the job.
We take a commission on each order and pay out the balance. Accept or decline orders promptly; orders left unanswered are cancelled automatically and refunded.
If you deliver on Cravvingss
You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You must pass identity verification, hold a valid licence and papers for your vehicle where the law requires them, and carry food safely.
Payment for a delivery is released once the customer gives you the delivery code. Never ask for the code before handing over the food, and never ask a customer for cash on top of the order.
Things you must not do
- Order food you do not intend to pay for or receive.
- Abuse, threaten or harass vendors, couriers or our staff.
- Use the service for anything illegal.
- Try to break, probe or overload the service, or use it through automation.
- Impersonate someone else, or register a role using another person's identity.
We can suspend or close an account that does any of this.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for running the marketplace and handling payments properly. We are not responsible for the quality of food a vendor cooks or the conduct of an independent courier, though we will help resolve problems and will refund what is owed.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing here removes rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be announced in chat. Continuing to use Cravvingss means accepting the update.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall to the courts of Lagos State.
